When it is necessary for a pupil to leave school early, a note must be sent to the class teacher. Parents/guardians are asked to ring the buzzer and wait at the gate on collection and return.

 

School Routine

School starts at 8.20am. Children are expected to be in their class lines by this time. The bell will ring and the teacher on duty will lead the children into the school. No child should arrive later than 8.20am. Any child who arrives after this time will be considered late and their name will be recorded

Junior and senior infants are dismissed at I pm. All other children are dismissed at 2pm. Pupils are expected to leave the schools grounds in an orderly fashion. Designated parents/guardians collecting children should assemble behind the white line and children will walk with their teacher to the line. Children will be dismissed class by class. No child may leave the supervision of the school staff until given permission by the class teacher. Children will be given permission to leave in accordance with the information provided by parents/guardians on the Child Profile Form.

Any changes made to the normal collection routine must be notified to the school via SMS/call to School Mobile (086) 8337528.

 

School Secretary

The secretary's hours are 9.30am-2.00pm. Parents wishing to contact the school outside of these hours may do so by calling the school principal on the school mobile number (086) 8337528. Please appreciate that the principal is a teaching principal.

Where possible, messages for the class teacher should be written. Anyone wishing to communicate with the class teachers should make an appointment to do so with the secretary.

If sending money into the school, for any reason, it should be placed in an envelope with the child's name, class and the date on the cover and given to the school secretary. If a child forgets any item, or one has to be delivered, please leave the item with the secretary.
