Greenlanes Dress Code
The highest standard of personal appearance/hygiene is expected at all times. Hair should be neat and tidy.
Please ensure that all clothes likely to be removed i.e. coats, hats, scarves, gloves, jumpers etc. are clearly labelled with your child's name as many children possess similar items. We do not recommend trousers with clasps or belts for infants which may be difficult to open.
On very wet days there can be quite a number of puddles around the playground so a pair of Wellingtons for outdoor use may then be helpful. These can be left in school to use when required.
For Gaelic on Wednesdays children J.I. to 6th Class should have runners and tracksuit bottoms. On Fridays children should have runners and tracksuit bottoms for P.E. Children from 3'd to 6th class should also have shin guards and gum shields for hockey on that day. Athletics will take place in the summer term and shorts/runners will be required. Long hair must be tied back for all sports.
